Hi! Yes, that time of year is getting closer. I’m as curious as everyone else to see what in the world Congress does with the tax laws this year!
I have had a couple calls asking if I’m accepting new clients for this coming year. I’m sorry to say, I’m not. Since moving into the new home office, I’ve had to limit the number of clients to the number I feel I can help without an employee. (Tacoma does not allow an employee in a home office.)
If you are a business client looking for a new CPA, contact my husband, Terry Ziegler, at DPC CPAs. They are currently accepting new clients. They serve many businesses and other clients in the south sound area. https://dpcpa.com/ 253-572-9922
If you are a continuing client or if we have spoken earlier, I will be sending out my tax packets just after the new year and we’ll see what this year holds.
I’ve received many comments from clients, and some confusion with others, because my name is still being used where I used to work. Since 2012, the only business name I’ve practiced under is Nancy Ziegler CPA PLLC. I am no longer a shareholder, partner nor employee of the former business and as agreed, I hope my name will be removed from that business soon.
For the 2017 tax season I am not accepting any additional new clients. If you have spoken with me or if you are a continuing client, you should be receiving a tax organizer packet from me near the New Year. Have a wonderful Holiday season and I’ll see you soon!
I am not accepting new clients at this time.
If you are a current client, or a new client I have already spoken with, and would like to sit down with me to go over your 2015 tax information, please call 253-879-9551 to set up an appointment. I am available for appointments all week (except for the drop-in office hours listed below) and most weekends and evenings.
If you prefer to drop your information off without sitting down for a full tax appointment, I have set aside the following hours during tax season that I will be here in the office for clients to stop by without an appointment.
Drop in hours during tax season (February 1, 2016 – April 15, 2016):
Mondays 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Fridays 7:30 am to 1:00 pm
If those are not convenient, please call me and we can make other arrangements. 253-879-9551
I’m sorry to say that I am not adding any additional clients for the 2015 tax year. Since I have a home office and do not have an employee, my current work load seems to be a perfect balance of servicing as many clients as possible without sacrificing quality.
Please check back after the spring 2016 tax season if you are still interested in my services.

At the beginning of this month (November 2014) we completed a new building behind our home in the North End of Tacoma. I am now working completely from home and will no longer have the office on 6th Avenue.
The new building is half garage and half office. There is alley access and parking either behind our home next to the office, on the street at either end of the alley or in front of our house. See the Directions page for information on how to find the new office.
Because I am working at my home, except for certain listed drop in hours during tax season (see the Hours page), I am seeing clients only by appointment. Please call me if you would like to set up an appointment.
Finally, I will not have an assistant in the new space, so I am not accepting additional new clients for the coming tax season. If we have not already spoken, please contact me after April 15, 2015 to see if I am accepting clients for the next year.
Thank you to all of my wonderful clients for the great tax season! It was nice to see you again this year. Even if we only see each other once or twice a year, visiting with all of you is the nice part of tax season.
If you have any questions during the year, please call or email me. Now that the 15th has come and gone, my schedule in the office varies. Please call me if you need to see me to be sure I’m in the office.
